Has anyone had any experience with this printer? If so, please let me know what you think of it, and if you have had any problems or concerns. Thanks.

We installed a 3330mfp in October and the users love it. Our application is in a hospital outpatient clinic. It gets moderate use. I think we have about 4000 copies on it so far.

I have it connected via USB to a Win2K computer and shared for use by a 2nd computer. It gets used as a quick copier quite a bit and does a decent job, given it's not a real copier. Pretty decent speed and good copies.

The only issues we have had are:

On a handful of occasions it will lockup while receiving a FAX. The only way to clear it seems to be to power cycle the printer. HP support was not much help with it. They suggested a "factory reset" but that did not seem to help. It is not a serious issue for us.

The FAX software on the PC seems a little buggy. For some reason it won't let us enter a subject for the fax cover sheet we created.
Again, not a big issue for us, we just ignore it.

Overall I guess I would give it a 8 out of 10 rating. We would definitely buy one again. My only concern is reliability, but so far no problems.

Thank you for your feedback. I am putting one in our Notary shop here and faxing is a big thing with us, but we have two other office jet printers that we use for that. The biggest thing is the speed and flexibility in printing. Quite often we have 100+ page mortgage papers to print, some legal size, some standard letter size and needed a printer to handle the workload.

As for reliabilty, I have never had an issue with HP products, that's why we have four of their printers already and are adding another. Lexmark misses the mark. I don't know about Cannon or Brother in these type of environments.

Again, thanks. Just waiting for the Brown team to show up with the printer in hand.
