I have an HP Laserjet 3200 that when plugged in will immediately turn the amber Error light on and will not display anything on the display window.
I've cycled the power on it, with and without the cards in it and still the same results. No error message, no abnormal sounds, just the lights.
I tried updating the firmware but the firmware software won't see it...likely due to what ever is happening to it. My first thought would be to do a reset to bring it back to defaults but the only info I can find on that is to go through the menu (which doesn't come up) and holding down the green button when powering up and that doesn't work either.
Any ideas? I'm guessing the reset will do it but how does one reset this model?
