the printer is only printing on the right hand side of the page vertically, fading to nothing on the left about halfway over. I have recalibrated and downloaded the drivers again. All cartridges are ready. paper is appropriate. any suggestions.

Probably the carousel of your printer has become mis-aligned.
This typically happens when users install toners incorrectly so the gears have slipped or if someone has moved the printer with the toner cartridges installed.
