How do I change the default settings on a HP Laserjet 2200 printer? I need to change the default form size from 60 lines per page to 66 lines per page.
From the Edit program in DOS type these two lines and select print:
Ec%-12345X@PJL DEFAULT FORMLINES=66
Ec%-12345X
The printer will then print a blank page, as it recons the text as a command.
Note: The Ec is equal to the escape sequence sign, a little arrow pointing to the left. It is made by holding down Ctrl+P and then pressing Esc
