HP Laserjet 2100TN

Good Afternoon All,

I am having a weird and very persistent issue with the laserjet 2100 TN.

I have installed the PCL 5e version of the driver and made sure to change the base model to: 2100 TN. I configured NT forms to make sure tray 2 prints letter and tray 3 prints legal.

However, i keep sending letter size jobs and they are getting printed using legal paper

Any ideas ?

do you have the paper types programmed into the printer so it knows what it has in its trays? .. it could also be the print driver configuration on the workstations...

How do i program the printer so it knows what it has in its trays ? The driver config is fine as this same config provided succesful results in the past..

scrap that ... I dont think you can do it on that printer type... I dont know if those are smart trys (ones that can tell how the dividers are set to find out what paper is currently loaded) you may want to do a quick check to make sure all the paper holders are locked into place..
