Hi! Let's see; I have an NT 4 Server with a networked LJ2100 printer installed. It worked fine until Office XP (Word) came around. Bullets and .pdf files would only print gibberish. So... I updated the driver on the server and reinstalled the printer on the client machines. Bullets and .pdf files print GREAT. All other documents have squished characters; I get a Word error; the screens font goes funny; and it's a really ugly scene. I've tried redownloading the driver; deinstalling/reinstalling word; repairing word. I've searched high and low and am at a loss as to what I can do next. Help!

Thank you.

Try connecting the printer directly to a client PC. If printing is OK, then it`s a M$ problem and they should help you out on this one. It is also likely, that it`s some bug in Office XP if printing from other Windows applications work fine.

Thanks HPWizzard. I actually got it to work. Instead of updating the existing driver on the server; I recreated a brand new shared printer using the downloaded driver. It seems to work so far.
