HP LaserJet 2100 does not feed paper

I have just tried cleaning the pickup rollers on our Laserjet. I removed the bottom tray and undid the three screws to removed the roller assembly. Unfortunately a piece of black plastic jumped out and I cannot see where it came from. I am sure it is back in the correct place but now the printer will not feed paper. Has anyone come up against this problem before?

Fixed it. Downloaded the Service Manual from the Internet and did the job properly. If you ever need to change the separation pad or pickup rollers use the Service Manual. Don't just jump in!
