HP Laserjet 2015 Double Sided Printing

I have installed my old Laserjet P2015dn on a new computer and downloaded the driver from the HP web site. The 2015 can do automatic double sided printing, but the new driver thinks double sided can only be done manually. I think I have the wrong driver but can't find any other driver for the 2015. Any ideas?

Automatic duplex is only possible if a duplex hardware option is fitted to the printer; with most LaserJet models, the model name should have a 'd' in it, like your P2015dn.

It is probably the case that you have to configure the driver to let it know that the duplex unit is installed; some drivers have an 'auto-discover' feature, but this may not work with older devices.

On the printer Properties dialogue, look for a 'Device Settings' tab (this may only be visible when logged in as an administrator); change the status of the duplex unit from 'not installed' to 'installed'.

That was it! I had to change the duplex box to "installed". Thanks for the help.
