Hi,
This is a strange one, I have a customer with some local Laserjet 1005 running off some XP machines. Both printers are attached via a parallel cable. All pcs are in a 2003 sbs domain. The printers however are not networked, just local.
Each night both printers and PCs are turned off. In the morning when the printer and a PC are turned on. It prints out the last job from the previous night.
Which is the strange part as I understand it the LJ1005 uses a host only driver so all the print processing is passed back to the PC. So when turned off every thing in memory should be erased.
I have removed and reinstalled with the newest driver. But it keeps on doing it.
Has anyone had this before, and hopefully fixed it.
TIA,
Paul
If aint broken, dont try n fix it!!!!!
