HP laser jet 4

Hello:
I have a old laser jet 4 which just works it little heart out until I got an error message 23???? Does anyone know what this error is???

Perhaps a printer question is not best suited to a Hard Drive Forum eh?

Have you tried searching google or the HP site for info regarding the error? Other wise it's:

1)Check paper
2)Check Toner.
3)Check Photoconductor Unit.
4)Check Cables/Paper jammed up etc.
4)Service or Replace.

Well I thought I was posting in HARDWARE , sorry. Since I service them myself #4,4 Is not really an option. Used to be able to get info from HP and since they went big shots thats no longer an option......

Checking all my Ref. for HP Laserjet 4 there is no error message 23???? listed look at the error code again to affirm error message 23????

Try a google search for "HP error ##". Several sites out there that have HP support will show and several have a full error message listing by model.
