HP JetDirect Port TCP/IP Problem

I need to swap a user from queue-based printing to TCP/IP. I've grabbed the JetDirect Port software, set it up, etc, but when I go to add a port it will only allow me to select IPX/SPX. I've not run into this problem on any of the other systems I've swapped over (roughly 75-100). Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Sounds like TCP/IP is not loaded and configured on the workstation. The JetDirect Software looks at the workstation to determine if that option is enabled. If it is loaded make sure that you can communicate via TCP/IP (with some pings to the printer perhaps). And as a last resort try unloading IPX/SPX and setting the workstation to only have TCP/IP as a loaded protocol.
