HP Jetdirect drivers for AIX

We've just got a new AIX box and it doesn't have the option to choose a Jetdirect connection when adding a printer like our old one did. Does anyone know where I can get hold of the approipate drivers/software to allow this? It's AIX version 5.2.

hi ,

Have you got the printers filesets installed ?

type in :-

lslpp -l | grep -i printer

( should list a lot of printer. )
if you only have a few , you can install this from the AIX 5.2 install CD's

i.e. install software , press f4 search for printer and select the ones not installed

you should install JetDirect Attach from AIX installation media.

printers.hpJetDirect.attach

That's got it. Didn't occur to me that it'd be on the CDs!
