Hi Guys,
I am trying to figure out if there are certain scsi id settings for each drive to a library. Ex. (seagate scsi id X for a STK L20 library.) The reason I ask, is on the back of the tape drives there are jumper settings and it looks like most of the drives are set from the manufacture. Does any one know if there are a designated setting for an specific library brand?

you might find that the SCSI id jumpers are set by the factory to a setting (scsi 15?) which allows the library operator panel to over-ride the setting via the drive serial connection.
