Hello,
recently we bought a refurbished HP Blade server (HP ProLiant BL p-Class) with two HP C-GBE G2 Interconnect Switches. Now we want to configure the switches for use in a new (our) network, i.e., we used hyperterminal to connect via serial cable to its management port.
The problem is, we do not know the login information (Administrator account), since naturally the previous owner had changed them. (In fact, the switch tries to connect to TACACS+ AUTHEN server, unsuccesfully of course, as we don't have it connected to the network.)
What we tried:
- the default login admin/admin
- using "2wGDEp|B" according to
Is there any other way to reset the switch? E.g., would removing the internal battery cause the switch to reset to factory defaults?
Thanks
