HP Formatter Asy question

Does anyone know if a Q5965-60001 Formatter assy fits and works in an HP CLJ 1600. The 1600 does have an opening for an Ethernet port, but the installed formatter assy does not have the port on it. The Q5965 I believe is for the CLJ 2600, but appears the same, but with the Ethernet port installed
