I have 1 Computer with Win2000 Pro and 1 HP DVD-Writter 100i and all drivers instaled. My problem is a speed problem because when i have all processes runing the system takes 2 min. to tranfer 1 file with 973 Mb from 1 comp. to onother. If i stop all the processes for the hp DVD 100i, the same file takes 40 sec.

the network is a gigabit network with 2 computers Pentium 4 1,7 GHz, HDD 40 Gb Seagate 7200 rpm, 512 Mb RDRam, Network Card Planet ENW-9602T Gigabit, Switch Planet GSW-601S, Cabçle Cat5e, Static TCP/IP Protocol, Win2000 Pro.

Please Help!!!
