HP DLT1 + AS2K = Problem

Hi all,

now I have this cool new DLT1 from HP (= Benchmark DLT1) and it does not work at all.
It is NOT the tapedrive or the tapes, since I can use the drive with NTBackup (using the driver from the HP Website) and Tapeware (which came with the Tapedrive).
But when using Arcserve 2K (AE) I cannot backup at all. I CAN format and erase (even doing a full erase is no problem), but when I try to backup I will get E3855 (Unable to position tape) immediatelly with changing ECs : illegal command, found Filemark, no data found , choose any of them.

The drives Firmware is up to date (391B (Benchmrk) = 27/OEM1 (HP)), it SHOULD be supported by AS2K, AS is up to date (SP2 + latest driverpack), no Tapedriver is installed, the Server has been restarted, and as I said: other backup-progs work without Problems.

Any ideas?

If somebody is interested: Arcserve did not like my SCSI-Controller. Now I have a tekram 390 and everything works just fine.
