I had to replace my damaged VS80 drive and the replacement works fine with Windows 2000 Backup utility but ARCServe or even Tapeware won't recognise media inserted and ARCServe says "Media Unrecoverable". Have updated the firmware etc. ARCServe 2000 is version 7 build 1110 (I think). Have rolled SP4 and then updated ARCServe to SP5 but won't work. Any clues will help. Strange thing is the WIndows backup utility works fine and third party utilites give problems. Help please.
