HP DL360 Redundant power supplies 1

Greetings all,

I recently installed redundant power supplies in 2, HP DL360s (CM & MM servers) and a flashing amber light appeared on the front panel of the server. I accessed the little pop-out LED display on the front of the servers and only the network activity light on the front was blinking which, as I understand it, is normal.

Do I need to log into some sort of maintenance console on the server to change some settings because of the newly installed power supplies?

Any help on this is appreciated.

Thanks to all!

Check to see that you have power on the power supply. As soon as the power supply is plugged into the server the yellow error light will flash. as soon as power is applied to the powersupply the yellow light will go back to green, at least that is how it is on mine.
