hi!

I guess I have a problem with my hp dj 930c.

when the printer is not printing, the ink cardridge holder is on the very right in stand-by position. and right below that holder, there is this thing which cleans the cardrigdes and portects them from drying out. I mean this thing which can slide back and forth, not the tank on the very bottom which gathers the "used" ink.

Sometimes, while this little thing slides back to release the ink cardridge holder, it makes some weird noise. as if something is blocking it. However, it releases the holder and the printer prints fine. When sliding back to its standby position, the little thing makes the weird noise again when sliding forth again to protect the ink cardridge. I hope you guys know what I mean.

I already called the European HP-Service Center, but they didn't have a clue what could be wrong.
So I'm wondering if you guys have an idea what might be wrong and if I can fix it without giving it to HP Services.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks,

alex
