This printer will only printer will only print in black and pink / magenta. I changed cartdriges, cleaned connectors, ran a diagnostics page, a test page, so on.. I figure the blue and yellow nozzels are clogged and need to be cleaned with the cleaning page but you can only run the page (from what I found) from the HP toolbox which the PC does not have installed. Any ideas? Thank you for your time,

Draven

Assorted reading for you:

You could try getting and installing, at least temporarily, a driver set with the toolbox.

If you have another printer available, try the cartridges in it to see if they give the same result.

Give the warm/hot water approach a try. I have had that work on some cartridges and not others.

i know for a fact it isn't the cartridge because we just recently purchased a brand new cartridge.

That's like saying "I know it's not the battery, I just replaced it". ;)

However, take a look at where the cartridge makes its electrical contact. If that is "bent" or "Creased", that will keep it from working.

That means absolutely nothing! Failure rate on ink cartridges is extremely high and always has been. Even brand new right out of the box. I was a CE for HP for over 4 years. Trust me I've seen a lot of these bad right out of the box. To be fair there are other factors to consider. Dirty AC power for example can take a brand new cartridge out in the blink of an eye.

What does a power issue do to an ink cartridge?
It can cause them to go bad prematurely.
