HP Deskjet 722C - Won't print yellow

A refilled HP 23 cartridge quit printing yellow, I cleaned, primed etc. still no go, injected ink into all three colors and tried again. No matter what the yellow would not print. Quit with the old cartridge and installed a new one (slightly out of date, several months) and still no yellow, I have blotted and get all three colors. Anyone have an idea???

Make sure you are using a new HP print cartridge.. remanufactured or refilled cartridges arent the best thing to troubleshoot with. (also if you end up calling tech support they wont help you)

Check that the contacts inside the ink carridge are clean... other then that you are doing the right thing.. just do it a few times. Also if you can figure out how to reset or "factory restore" your printer.. give that a go too just for the hell of it.
