What do you mean by "maintain"? Most of the maintanance
on this printer can be done with a rag.

Let me put it to you this way, the software would be for a very computer illiterate friend of mine who knows how to push buttons but nothing else. She bought the printer at a second hand store and just would like the software for it. Also, it takes both black and color cartridges but only one place to put them into the printer. I just want general information and thought the original software might help both her and me.
