My printer is not responding, when the power is "on" the light in the switch would just blink forever and if the printer's hatch is opened, the moving thing where the ink is located doesnt move in to the center, where it should be.

What is the make and model of the printer?

If there's more than one light on the printer, then which one blinks when the power is turned on?

Sorry, I missed the make and model in your subject line.

Cancel any documents awaiting printing in Windows.

If no luck, then install it on a different system.
If the same thing happens, then the printer may be bad.

Disconnect from computer and unplug electrical for 5 mins. Reconnect electrical and see if it returns to normal. If not disconnect again and check for obvious problems such as paper jam. Lift cover and see if you can gently pull the print head to the center and remove print cartridges. Connect power and see if it returns to normal. If still nothing I'd say the printer cover switch isn't functioning properly.
