Hi,
We installed a new HP Designjet T1100ps 24" in January and shortly after we created some printing shortcuts on the server, and it was fine until july... I tried to add new printing shortcuts on the server but it wouldn't save them properly (not the options I had selected when I pressed the save as)

So I downloaded the latest driver and updated the printer, but it still gives me the problem.

I created a new printer going to the same IP address as the other one, but now I can save them properly but these Printing Shortcuts do not replicate on the client computer.

Each user is able to create a printing shortcut, but it's not fun to change them on 6-7computers every time there is something to change...

I tried to install the printer on an other server thinking it might be server related, but it does the same.

I tried to Google my problem, but I've only been able to find 2-3 posts of other people having similar problems, with no answers on how to fix it.

Any ideas on what could cause the problem?
I tried to chat with HP techniciens but they say they do not support Server - Client connexion (which I don't understand since that printer comes with a network connexion)

Thank you,

It seems that my problem was language related.
Our server is installed with an english OS and our workstations have french OS.

Both french OS works, and both english OS works also.
This HP Designjet T1100ps is the 1st one that gave me problems with cross-languages.

Also, I downloaded the french driver and installed it on the english OS server, and it didn't work. It might be related to the driver interface being bilingual (kinda, lacking a better way of explaining it)

Once again I can say I truly hate having mixed OS language... long live english OS (less translation bugs)

The 1 thing I still don't get is why did it work for 6months, but it is not that important I suppose.
