Has anyone out there had a problem when printing from Windows XP to a HP Designjet 600 plotter ?

The printer is attached to a jetdirect box and shared from a windows 2000 server. The client (running XP) can print to the printer fine but the print quality is slightly less defined than it used to be when he had an NT4 workstation.
This wouldn't be a problem except that the printer is used to print engineering plans and must be pristine. At the moment the finer details of the print are difficult to read.
I have already tried updating the server's driver to the latest version with no improvement.
This is proving very hard to correct, please help.

Will.

Are you using WebJetAdmin to configure the printer? A very useful utility for working on printers from individual workstations. Might offer some clues as to wht you're encountering. Try it.

I think I have tracked the problem down to an application specific issue, but thanks for the help.
