I am having problems with one of our clients windows 2000 computer. When you do a test print to the HP designjet 500, it never prints. It leaves the printer queue, but the plotter never goes to processing or anything. It never gives an error on the computer side. I have two parallel ports installed - both work fine - tested on a deskjet 880c, both parallel cables work fine on the HP 880c. I have updated the firmware on the plotter - but I had to use a command prompt to do it. The automatic utility that is windows based could not find the plotter. I hooked up a Windows 98 notebook to the plotter - worked great. I have updated everything I can think of. HP tech support said that the 880c could be hanging it up - removed - still the same results. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks
