HP/Compaq Memory

I have an XW8000 workstation and want to increase it's RAM. I have seena lot of HP server memory (for ML370G3) on ebay which appears to be the same spec(PC2100 ECC 266MHz DDR 184 pin) however this has a different Compaq part number than that of my machine.

Can I install this server memory in my workstation. Is there something different about this memory or is HP just having a laugh?
