Hello I am new to your forum and would appreciate some help. I have aquired a used and somewhat abused 8500 that has some problems. One is the printer is not printing the proper color boxes on the drum doing the open door test instead it prints regular donut shaped black circles all over tha drum them wipes them clean but never any color at all nor an boxes. Second when it does a print it looks like a bad imitiation of a maze with circles and flat lines all over the page, the top and the bottom of the page is smuged like there is way too much toner being applied. Anyone have any ideas? Also the clean density sensor is displaying but that I understand since now I know it is not doing the proper calibration print. Any help is appreciated.

Well, what's the status of your consumables? The donut-shaped stuff almost sounds like your drums got wet or something.....

Just my 2¢
