Hi,
my HP Color LaserJet 3800 dtn prints the reverse page at an angle relative to the front page in duplex mode. Lines that should be parallel and on top of each other on each side cross each other. The error is about 2.5 mm (1/10 ") over the length of an A4 paper (approx 11"), so it is quite visible. (Mind that it is *not* an offset; the line that should be vertical is 2.5 mm closer to the right side of the paper at the bottom than it is at the top.)
The error is largely independent of paper, tray and alignment settings.
The attachment shows a scan of a sample print out with the reverse side traced through the paper. The error can be seen clearly. The corners of the papers are marked with black dots.
Although we do have a care pack, HP refuses to do anything about it; they claim it is within tolerance. Is there anything I can do about it? Or at least convince HP to do something?
Any hint is very welcome,
thanks,
