Hi All,
I've got a couple of the HP Cat5 cabled KVM's (rebranded Avocent units, same as Dell/Fujitsu) which have the Serial SIP's.
Now I have them talking just fine to my HP Procurve Switches here at home, but can't get them to talk to my Cisco switches using a gender bender (as they're a female connection, and the same female connection is used on the end of the RJ45>Serial Cisco lead).
Has anyone ever had any success with them on Cisco switches? I've got a number of these Serial Adapters as I got them cheap, but can't get them to operate on the Cisco gear...
Any help would, as usual, be appreciated!
