HP C1533A 4/8 GbYTE BACKUP WITH DDS 120 TAPE

I HAVE USED DAT TAPE DDS120 FOR A LONG TIME , NOW 2 TAPES OF 8 TOTAL I HAVE, THEY GIVE ME A MEDIA ERROR TYPE SO I DECIDED TO BUY SOME NEW ONE, BUT WITH ALL THE TAPE I INSERT I SEE A ERROR : MEDIA ERROR UNABLE TO WRITE ....

I HAVE CHANGED THE TAPE WITH A OLD ONE AND IT CONTINUE TO FUNCTION SO I HAVE CHANGED TAPES BUT WITH ANOTHER NEW ONE BUT I CONTINUE TO HAVE THE SAME ERROR MESSAGE .
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ENTER ON THE OPTION "PREPARE TAPE" EVEN IF I REMEMBER THAT AT THE START ,SOME MONTHS AGO , BACKUP EXEC PREPARE AUTOMATICALY A TAPE BEFORE TO START THE BACKUP .
