I have the above printer connected to an old Packard Bell Club 65 machine running Windows '98 through the parrallel port.
Everything works fine for the first few hours of the day then when printing (from any application) a dialog box tells me that the printer is out of paper, even though it's not, and the printer will still print it's internal test page. The only way to get it going again is to restart the PC. I have tried different port settings in Windows and the BIOS but to no avail.
Has anyone any ideas what might be going on here? TIA.
Tom
