I am installing a networked businessjet 2200 printer using tcp/ip printing. I add the tcp/ip port, and install the software I downloaded from hp. It goes all the way through, and at the end of the install gives me the error message "unable to install printer. operation could not be completed". Installing on win2000. What should I try next?

I am having the exact same problem. I cannot install ANY printer. How did you resolve?
I also have the same problem, trying to install a Kyrocera 1700, get to end of process and same message. Also tried to add other printers supported from windows with no additional drivers and same problem. Anyone got any ideas. Checked no viruses, spyware and re-installed XPSP1, but still nothing.
