I got that printer about a year ago and so far it has been working great for me. I read many negative comments regarding paper feed problems, wasting yellow ink more than others etc. but personally I never had any problems. I got 4 questions:

1. I have been purchasing HP Advanced 4x6 paper but I can't figure out how to simply print 4x6 borderless. Well... actually I can but the result is not what I have in mind. For instance, I usually master the photo in photoshop before printing, so I open my photo, set dpi to 300, or 600dpi, and then crop it to 4x6. After cropping I go to print, settings, set 4x6 borderless, choose the paper type, and finally print. What I always come up is a borderless photo; however, it cuts maybe a 1/4inch from each side of the photo. How do I fix this? If I print 4x6 but not borderless then I come up with good print with left white borders around the picture.

2. Recently I ordered refillable cartridges along with ink from ebay. It was around the price of a regular vivera combo but there is enough ink to refill each color 25-30 times. I had to give it a try, but now I would like to hear from any of you using such kits, it there is a chance it will mess my printer?

3. I also but advanced photo paper from HP in size 8.5x11. I also would like to know how to print borderless with that size.

4. Sometimes, after playing in photoshop, the output printed looks much different from what I see on screen. Would working in CMYK mode instead of RBG help here? I use 24LCD monitor and things look different by looking from different angle. Could somebody provide any link to a site which could help me calibrate the colors in my monitor, ultimately so my prints would look more like what I see on screen?

Thanks a lot in advance for any input.
