My office recently upgraded its workstations to Win 2000. Presently, our server is still Win NT. We have an HP 960C connected to LPT1 on the server and shared out to all users. It worked great when all had NT. Here's what it does now or doesn't do now. When you print in any program, the info goes to print manager does its processing, seems like it prints but it does not. You can still print a test from the server but the workstations will not print. I suspect it is some compatibility between the operating systems and the drivers. I loaded the 960C Win 2k driver on a workstation and attempted to print but it still does not work. Attempting to load the 960C NT driver on the workstation was not successful nor was loading a 960C Win 2k driver on the server. Other than connecting the printer to a workstation and sharing it out, are there any options? Netque or jetdirect may work but I've noticed these options have problems processing large files.
