HP 950 help

after installing the software / drivers for the printer.... i print a test page and everythings fine... but oh no.... when i try to print anything else.... i get an error ::

Title of Error: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Assertion Failed!

To debug click retry ( JIT must be enabled):

i would take a screen shot but its on my friends comp... and i uninstalled.... reinstalled the drivers over and over... also... its usb.... i installed the software / drivers and then plugged the usb in.... bah!!! help i played with it for 3 hrs.... please help... thanks guys

Do you have the latest updates from Microsoft?
If the test page printed correctly,the basic printer infrastructure is ok.
Does printing a text file cause this problem?
