My recommendation is to avoid this printer driver like the plague. Even local printing has caused problems. If you must then, use the newest driver you can find...just make sure you test test test!

With most colour HP Deskjets I use the DJ690C (Microsoft) driver, until I've tested more up to date variants.
The 800 and 900 series can be very problemmatic. Hint: Never install printer drivers on a terminal server using the setup utility on the CD-ROM that comes with the printer; instead, browse for the oemsetup.inf file and install the driver manually.
I get a fairly high success rate doing it this way.
