Hi,

Yesterday, My printer started to miss colours on printing so I changed the colour cartridge.

up until that point, printing quality in "Normal" mode was very good.

After I changed to the new cartridge, the printer printed a test page.

the bottom of the page contained 4 rectangles in different colors, all printed as solid colour except for the cyan one, it was missing some of the rectangle and had streaking in it.

I thought it was just the new cartridge getting started, so I went on to print my first image.

the printing was ok but now had streaks in it, sometimes white, sometimes with some red addition to the line.

I tried some more, and got the same, I then tried the HP software-based cleaning procedure , and went up to the Prime cleaning.

This did not help, so I got a new color cartridge which exhibited the same problem exactly.

At dispear, I tried installing the old cartridge that was nearly finished, printed and got streaks this time as well!!!!

I read at HP website of a cleaning procedure with water and cotten, so I did clean the color and b&w cartridges, but this did not help as well.

What can possibliy be wrong? it worked fine this morning!

any advice anyone ?

thanks!
