Hi:
I have an HP 8665c model w/ PIII-600mhz cpu & 128meg ram.
I've accessed the specs from HP, & they don't show the mobo info. The problem is when you power up the PC, nothing happens. Nothing is xfer'd to the monitor at all, no beeps for possible errors, no BIOS access & no light comes on for the HDD. I've already swapped out the HDD, ribbon cables, checked power, swapped monitors, PS fan & CPU fan, reapplied the thermal compound to the CPU & heatsink (Reason being that this was an intermittent problem before & I suspected the CPU was overheating). Also, there is no visible BIOS chip...all I can gather is: "Mercury-G software build ID 2.30.26" from the HP.com site. Personally, I think the mobo is dead, even though power is being rcvd to all other components, however, ANY suggestions are appreciated.
Tnx in advance,
Mikey
