This printer has been producing very poor quality printing. The configuration page “says” the drum kit has 60% remaining life, the fuser kit has 20% remaining life, and the transfer kit has 17% remaining life. Every color printed page has smeared toner over the center 75% portion of an 8-1/2 x 11 page. The drum always has toner remaining after printing a page.

Every printed page lacks bright colors, sharp lines and image edges and in general, poor print quality.

Is there a way to clean the drum? What am I overlooking? What is the solution?

With the duplexer, it jams every few pages. All most all the jams have the paper stopping at the end of the duplexer. I have purchased two duplexers, they look just like the one in the printer, but they did not fit. The duplexers would slide in the printer, but stop just before the duplexer would “lock” into position in the printer. How can I make the duplexer work correctly?
