Hello,
I am decommisioning a print server. I connected to the printer share on the old print server from my new one to ensure I have the same Printer Driver version.
I then deleted the shared printer mapping and installed the printer on my new server, creating a TCPIP port to the print device. i copied all of the configuration settings exactly however when I change the tray assignments or enable the duplex check box under configuration, apply does not light up. i select OK, it closes , but does not save the settings.
i confirmed the driver ver. is the exact same. I am logged in as a Domain Admin so I am not sure it is a rights issue.
The OS is Windows 2000 Server.
Any ideas from anyone?
