HP 6100 & Actiontech WirelessLAN

Hi

I have a HP 6100 which was given to me by my firm. It has a actiontech wireless lan card installed.

From what I understand it is a Agere card just been rebagded. Unfortunately the problem, is that any jo user can change the settings of the card from the taskbar or control panel. As you know that is not recommended. I also have Agere orinoco cards, where the settings have been locked down by default.

I have tried using the fall 2002 orinoco drivers on the hp 6100, but this did not work.

Does anyone know of a way to lock down the wireles settings on a hp6100 using the actiontech wireless lan
