The jam code designates that it is at the fuser. I've taken the fuser out and no jams. Does anybody know what and where are the switches and eyes for these jams and/or is this the problem.

Also who knows how to break the admin password on one of these printers. Previous IT has passwords on the machines and failed to pass them on. Is there a jumper or dip somewhere to break it?

What jam code do you get to be excatly ? One way of trying to remove the password on the printer is to try a cold reset on it. To perform a cold reset:

1) Turn printer off.
2) Hold the ONLINE key down and turn printer on.
Continue to hold the GO key until the printer reads "Cold Reset".
3) Release ONLINE. "Initializing" appears. Then, "Restoring Factory Settings". Followed by "Offline".
4) Press the ONLINE key to put back on line.

Note :
A cold reset will reset the HP Jetdirect card, even if removed. Print the Configuration page before performing a cold reset.

The Message is "13.14 Paper Jam Clear All Pages".

The resetting to factory setup seemed to have worked. Of course I still can not see it in Jet Admin because of the error message.

The 13.14 error means that the printer could not auto eject the paper. First thing to do is to make a paperpath test and check for debris through the entire printer. During examination of the registration sensor (under toner cartridge), verify the Mylar strip that rests on the hinge rod for flap 2 of the registration assy has not been forced under the rod. This would cause the sensor to appear OK when it is examined, but would be activated when flap 2 is returned to the operating position.
