hp 5500dn paper registration

Hello. Has anybody had image registration problems using tray 1 on the 5500dn with 12x18 inch paper? I've gone through the calibration thing many times, and it just doesn't seem to print this particular size centered, with 1/4" border on all sides, as it should. Any ideas? Or is this just a quirk peculiar to the 5500?

Have you checked in the driver that the print should be centered ? On the printer you could try and specify custom papersize for the manual tray.

Thanks for the info, but this has not helped either. It's still favoring the left side of the page with the large format (12x18). I've set 1/4" margin around the design, and on the left side, when it prints, it's 3/16" from the edge. On the right side it's 5/16" from the edge. A big, noticeable discrepency when creating brochures and fanfolds. Any ideas?
