IS-IT--Management
This seems to be an issue localized to a few employees. Two of them are using Office 2003 Professional and the other is using Office XP Professional. The problem is also intermittent, not continuous.
They will open a formatted WORD document and set their default printer to the HP 5000N or the HP 8550. When they do a print preview the printer does not seem to be able to handle landscape pages in the document. It presents them as portrait, cutting off printed material.
These printers are networked through a Windows 2000 Server. I have checked settings between these printers and duplicate printers running off of other servers and they are configured exactly the same. I have also checked settings at the printers themselves and again they are the same.
Now, I have asked the employee's to send me the documents and I have been able to print them fine to the same printers in question (using Office XP Professional). Hmmmmm. Anyway, any thoughts, ideas, solutions would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time spent.
