Hey all,
I'm having some weird issues with a new HP 4250dtn printer. For the most part, it's working as it should, but a few times now when multiple jobs have been queued up it starts spitting out nothing but garbage. By that, I mean it will print maybe 5-6 lines of random characters and symbols, and continue doing this until it's out of paper or the printer is shut down.
At first, it seemed like a driver update fixed it. I picked up the newest drivers off of the HP site and installed them on everyone's system that used the printer. Seemed to help at first, but now it's happening again, and I'm not sure what else to expect.
The printer is set up using the Jet Direct card, and only has about 3-4 users that print to it, all using WinXP. Some of the jobs are quite large and typically involve at least a few images. Again, this seems to happen the most when multiple jobs are queued up.
I'm at a bit of a loss about what else to try. Anyone else have this happen before, or know of a workaround for it?
Thanks!
