Hi,
I'm a bit puzzled.
I have just put a HP 4100N on my network. We already have a Hp4100MFP on. I am trying to install the printer drivers and get the printer installed in active directory but I'm ahving no luck. I'm not getting any error messages off the CD, but I note that the installer hangs. I've used the CD to create a share on the network where people can go to get the necessary drivers and this works, however the printer itself is still not appearing in the directory - even if I choose a pc to "share" it.
Does anyone know what might be up with it?
FYI:
Network PDCs are W2k - up to date.
client machines are all either W2k or XP.
