It´s quite OK to post this info here but perhaps placing it under Tips would have been better
However many of the issues discussed in the article can be resolved easily by third party software or HP´s own Digital Sender software (DSS) or Auto Store (

that enables many of the functions that are being missed and not included with the printer. We can agree that taping the modem to the side of the printer looks quite odd and seems like a cheap sollution. What makes me wonder is if none of the customers has been offered a software sollution like the Digital Sender along with their printer. The salesmen of these printer did NOT do their job properly

How unrealistically expensive is HP's add-on Digital Sending Software ?
Beyond the reach of the small businesses that the 4100 mfp is suitable for.
