Our office is having slow printing response times when using both direct IP printing and Novell NDS printing, using the HP PostScript printer drivers for HP 4000n and 4050n, 8000n and 8150n printers.
We are primary using Office 2000 SP2; PowerPoint and Word documents. When the documents print out, there is a 5 to 15 second delay between pages. We are running Windows 2000 Professional, SP2 and SP3. Using the PCL5 or PCL6 Drivers does print much faster, but when we had Win98, using the PostScript driver was fine. Also, we need the PostScript driver for our firm templates to print correctly.
